  Zhihong Qian’s research work focuses on wireless network and communication system, including key technologies of wireless sensor networks (WSN), internet of things (IOT), radio frequency identification (RFID), wireless ad hoc networks, theory and applications of wireless personal area network based on bluetooth and zigbee, signal analysis and process of wireless network system. In the latest 5 years, He authored and co-authored, as the corresponding author, more than 48 research papers in national or international academic journals and conferences, as well as 3 books on wireless networks. He has been granted 5 patents, and obtained 12 grants as a principal investigator or main co-operator, some of which are running currently. In the latest 5 years, Zhihong Qian has supervised more than 61 graduate students, and 18 PhD students, the program for those 35 of whom are on-going now. He is recipient of several awards, and referee or reviewer for more than 20 journals and numerous conferences. He is the senior member of IEEE, and the senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics. He also served on several institute committees, such as the Electronic Circuit and System Council of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the National Higher Education Teaching Guidance Committee for Internet of Things Teaching, and the National University Students’ IoT Application Innovation Competition Committee. He is the General Chair of CSIE 2011, the Session Chair of ICEMMT 2011, U-World-2011 and the 22nd Academic Annual Meeting of Electronic Circuit and System Council of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, as well as TPC member or Keynote Speaker for a number of conferences.

Prof. Ching-Nung Yang

  CHING-NUNG YANG received the B.S. degree and the M.S. degree, both from Department of Telecommunication Engineering at National Chiao Tung University. He received Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University. He is presently a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Dong Hwa University, and is also an IEEE senior member. He has published a number of journal and conference papers in the areas of information security, multimedia security and coding theory. He is the guest editor of a special issue on "Visual Cryptography Scheme" for Communication of CCISA, and a coauthor of a series of articles on "Image Secret Sharing" for the Encyclopedia of Multimedia. He is the coeditor of two books "Visual Cryptography and Secret Image Sharing" published by CRC Press/Taylor & Francis, and "Steganography and Watermarking" published by Nova Science Publishers, Inc. He serves as a technical reviewer for over 30 major scientific journals in the areas of his expertise, and serves as editorial boards of some journals. Also, has served member of program committees of various international conferences. He is the recipient of the 2000, 2006, 2010, 2012, and 2014 Fine Advising Award in the Thesis of Master/PhD of Science awarded by Institute of Information & Computer Machinery. His current research interests include coding theory, information security, and cryptography.

Prof. Hongzhi Wang

  Hongzhi Wang is an Professor of Department of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology. His interested rearch area includes big data management, data quality, graph data management, web data management. He has published more than 100 papers. He has also been PI of more than 10 projects including three NSFC projects, and co-PI of 973, 863 and NSFC key projects. He was awarded microsoft fellowship, Chinese Execellent database engineer and IBM PHD fellowship. His PHD thesis was selected as CCF outstanding PHD thesis.

  Prof. Jian Wang is working on high-speed optical communications and data information processing. Prof. Yung-Kuan Chan

  YUNG-KUAN CHAN received his M.S. degree in computer science in 1991 from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, U.S.A. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science and information engineering in 2000 from National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan. From 2001 to 2002, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Management, Chaoyang University of Technology. From August 2002 to July 2003, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Huwei Institute of Technology. From August 2003 to July 2005, he was an assistant professor, from August 2005 to July 2008, an associate professor, a Full Professor in August 2008, and the Chairman from July 2010 to June 2014, a Distinguished Professor from February 2014 to July 2015, and now is a Honorary Professor of Management Information Systems Department at National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan. His research interests include image processing, image hiding, and data mining.
